So I have just returned from sunny Southern California shooting the Spring 2013 Cleobella campaign.... Enjoying the escape from the middle of our Aussie winter.

One of the biggest questions i am constantly asked, is "what products do you use on yourself?"

Firstly you need to know - i am super low maintenance. I always tell my clients you need to liken it to every other industry - builders always have unfInished renovations - i just can't be bothered doing a full makeup everyday!

So here is my own personal limited travelling supplies (not the business size makeup kit for the shoot!)

From left to right:

*Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray which just dirty's up hair that's just too clean - think Beach hair adding a little definition and un does perfect hair.

*Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray i use every wash! I have VERY fine hair and if you spritz this at your roots before hairdrying it feels like it doubles your volume - amazing! Not heavy at all on thin hair. I'm low maintenance on the hair front but this is my FAVOURITE product not only for me but also for shoots.

*Clarisonic MIA  i don't go anywhere without this compact beauty. If you are yet to hear about the Clarisonic.... then where have you been hiding?!!! Think electric toothbrush for your face. The bristled front scrubs your skin - leaving it cleaner than ever before... honestly. You just charge it up and keep it in the shower & yes my builder husband has even been known to use it. Adore this!

*Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks, because everyone needs a little bit of colour and rosy-ness. I use this soley as a blush, and the creaminess leaves skin dewy and fresh. Super easy to apply with your fingers.

*Chanel Lait Confort Cleanser this gentle cleanser is easy to use & smells fresh! I have combination skin that is definitely prone to the odd hormonal breakout... but i hate using gel or soapy cleansers that are usually whats recommended and leave my skin feeling dry stretched and stripped. So as a result - i ALWAYS use cream or oil based cleansers - and this one is lovely.

*Weleda Body Oil for Pregnancy I have always used an Organic Coconut oil as my body moisturiser. But at the moment i am 7 and a half months pregnant and totally in love with this Weleda product. Always one for the senses, this one ticks all the boxes. It smells absolutely divine with soft essential oils, absorbs perfectly into my ever growing belly & leaves my skin smelling amazing and feeling well hydrated to assist my stretching skin (and no strech marks yet!) This has become my number one gift for pregnant friends too.

*Cetaphil Moisturising Cream This is the ONLY moisturiser i use in my personal and professional kits. Recommended by dermatologists it is extremely gentle, sensitive and feels amazing on your skin. My clients always ask what it is, as it feels like a rich luxury product. Plus your makeup will always sit better, and last longer on skin that is happy and hydrated - this is the perfect base on freshly cleansed skin.

*Jo Malone Orange Blossom Cologne I have had a lasting love affair with Jo Malone products. Whether it be perfume or home candles i always manage to justify this luxury as a must. Smell it to believe it! The latest scent i am wafting around the continents is Orange Blossom, and it's the perfect mix of light, summery scent that everyone asks and compliments me on (don't you love that!)

*Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation Absolutely adore Vitalumiere.... i carry the entire range in my working kit and it truely does leave skin looking like skin (i HATE foundation that looks like a mask). It has buidable coverage so is great for women who like little or a lot of coverage & has that perfect luminous finish. it really does help adding that glow to most brides on their wedding day.

*Maybelline Mascara This is the one product you need to update most frequently, and for the cost per use you can't go past Maybelline - i have ALL of their waterproof collections and they do not budge! This one is the Collosal lashes in Black Black and i often am asked if i've had lash extensions done - yes it's that good.

*Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser Gives your skin the glow we ALL want! Like i mentioned earlier i am actually really low maintanance with my own makeup, but this tinted moisturiser is an everyday for me. It has amazing light reflective qualities that softly covers imperfections without a heavy makeup coverage & has an SPF of 20 - bonus!

*YSL Touche Eclat Not to be confused with a concealer, this light reflecting pen i just dab under my eyes and might sweep across the cheek bone for the days i know, i look like a need a little pick me up!

Leaving you with a pic of me driving around Southern California in my girlfriends Merc - happy days of summer sunshine i miss you already!
